Club Foundation


Paris, in September 2001, have been created the non-governmental organization of the International Businness Club.

 

The main purpose of this organisation is to enforce development of business activities thanks to an international collaboration between trade actors of Europe and Russian Federation.


Victor YAROCHENKO

Chairman of the Club

 

VICTOR YAROCHENKO was born in 1946 in Moscow (USSR) in a family of officials. Doctor of Economics. Professor, Academician. Author of more than 150 written works.
From 1885 to 1989 - Deputy Director General for External Economic Relations, and in a group of Soviet industrial production. In 1989 he was elected as MP and chairman of the Committee on Taxation in the Parliament of the USSR. Economic Advisor, close to President Yeltsin, in 1990 he became the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of Russia. In 1992 he was appointed Minister Counsellor for Economic and Business Affairs of Russia in France (Head of Economic Expansion Post).

In 1992 he co-founded the "Franco – Russian Chamber of Commerce. He was the first among his colleagues to design the club model of international business in 1996 by performing the "The Franco – Russian Business Club”. For ten years he has been responsible for organizing annual meetings of CEFIC (Economic Financial Commercial and Industrial Board). The Russian side was always chaired by one of the vice - Prime Ministers. For his success in trade and international economic and other merits, Victor Yarochenko was decorated with Russian insignias and medals for the exercise of his functions.

Ivan SILAYEV

Honorary Chairman of the Club

 

IVAN SILAYEV, born in 1930, a great statesman, decorated by the Supreme Order of the USSR "Medal of Merit from Socialist Worker. In 1974 he joined the Ministry of Aviation Industry of the USSR. In 1980 he became the Minister of the machine tool industry of the USSR. Between 1981 and 1985 will be Minister of Aviation of the USSR. Since 1985, Silayev becomes the Deputy Chairman of Council of Ministers of the USSR.

In the late eighties they approach with Boris Yeltsin. Being the President of the Russian Parliament, Yeltsin supports in 1990 the candidacy of Silayev to the post of President of the Council of Ministers of the USSR. In 1991, after Yeltsin's election as President of Russia, Silayev again becomes Prime Minister of Russia.

Since 1992, Silayev was the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the European Communities in Brussels. In 1994 he founded and headed the International Union of Industrialists (UII). This organization brought together more than a hundred civilian and military industrial enterprises. Since 1995, Silayev Green Party is a member of the "Cedar", Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Inter-Commercial Bank of Moscow. Since 1998 he chaired an industrial cluster "Industrial machinery", the National Committee for economic cooperation with countries of South America.

Since 2002, President of the Industrial Union of Russia.
